Night Porter

We are currently seeking a passionate, warm individual to join our Reception Team in the role of a Night Porter. Being a key part of the wider Reception Team, you will be the person our guests interactive with and you will be on hand to provide exceptional customer service for their visit and ensure that everything exceeds our guests’ expectations throughout the late evening and night.

Working alone in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment, you will be able to deal with evolving situations calmly and professionally. You will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and feel comfortable and confident working as part of a team or independently.

Reporting to the General Hotel Manager some of your duties will include:

- deal with enquiries (face to face and telephone) and take bookings using our reservation system
- resolve guest issues
- be hands on (this can be a physically demanding role) including delivering room service and assisting guests with luggage
- ensure all guests expectations are met during their stay and provide amazing standards of hospitality
- check guests in and out and settle accounts

You will come to us with good IT skills and ideally have experience of working in an administrative and customer facing role.

Previous experience of working in a Hotel Night Porter role and using Rezlynx Reservation System is advantageous.

The position works on a shift basis with the following hours, 22:00-08:00, evening and weekend availability is required.
