Puro Accountancy are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice based in North London. **Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining accurate financial records and preparing accounts up to trial balance for a portfolio of clients using systems such as Xero & Dext
- Liaising with the outsourcing team and reviewing work
- Performing bank reconciliations and processing payments
- Processing invoices & sales and purchase ledgers using cloud accounting softwares
- Producing and submitting VAT returns
- Assisting clients with any queries
- Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
- General admin duties

**Requirements**:

- At least 4 years' experience working in a UK accountancy practice environment
- Must have previous bookkeeping experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
- Have experience with a variety of software's
- Must have experience with Xero and be confident with this software
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines

Pay: Up to £38,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
