Operations and Compliance Planner

**Reporting of the role**:
This role reports to Head of Planning and Compliance

**Overview of job**:
The overall purpose of an Operations and Compliance Planner is to ensure that resources are managed efficiently and effectively in order to optimise use of internal and external resources to achieve delivery of clients’ campaigns safely and efficiently to the accurate place and on time; manage performance targets and minimise unnecessary spend.

You will be part of a team responsible for producing delivery plans, posting and maintenance schedules which are appropriate for our operational delivery teams and contractor partner teams; ensuring they have the appropriate skills, appropriate compliance and access clearance required to work on and across the TFL estate.

In this role you will be key in generating, analysing and presenting relevant performance data to ensure optimal performance from the delivery teams. You will also be responsible for the effective organisation of Globals contractor resource demands and for maintaining key relationships with both internal and external partners. The Operations and Compliance planner role is a fully interactive internal and external role, collaborating closely across various internal departments and external contractor partners.

As part of the Operations and Compliance Team you will have shared responsibility for fault resolution making sure rectification plans are triaged, handled, delivered on and our contractual KPI’s and SLA’s are met.

Due to the operational nature of this role will required some unsociable and remote assistance weekend work.

- Gained experience on how to plan internal and external resource to ensure the delivery of campaigns, safely and efficiently to the accurate place and on time
- Gained experience on how to plan internal and external resource to undertake reactive maintenance works
- Gained an understanding of exception management
- Prepared and presented a cycle review
- Independently handled out of cycle faults, rectifying within contractual SLA’s
- An understanding of the training and compliance requirements for each delivery role
- Agreed SMART objectives

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Effectively plan and manage internal and external resource to ensure 100% campaign placement within posting cycle restraints
- Effectively plan and manage internal and external resource to ensure timely maintenance of assets is achieved
- Ensure all required track and network access is accurately charged
- Triage and control resolution of internal and external reported faults ensuring contractual KPI’s and SLA’s are met
- Pro-actively and fairly manage internal and external resource shift attendance and time-off requests in line with workload expectations, cycle restraints and budgets
- Ensure internal and external resources working on their behalf are appropriately trained and certificated for the tasks being undertaken and for the environment in which they are working, with records maintained accordingly
- Establish, audit, monitor and maintain training, competency, and compliance arrangements to ensure we align with our contractual training, competency and compliance obligations at all times.
- Regularly engage with key partners to establish a shared understanding of the skills and qualities of the internal and external resource pool
- Pro-actively develop and handle the relationships with key partners and support teams - Transport Fulfilment, Poster Preparation team, Night Management Team, Contractor Partners, External Partners, and the Partnerships Team.
- Provide structured communication, feedback to internal partners and team members on posting accuracy, quality and cycle performance
