You don't need prior financial experience as you will gain new skills and knowledge of financial processes through off-the-job training, AAT qualifications and a supportive team around you.

**What will I do day to day?**
- Data entry or suppliers invoices and credit card statements
- Chasing of late payments
- Managing of office petty cash
- Collating finance reports
- Sending out recurring invoices on the 1st each month
- Undertaking credit checks as necessary and assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
- Working closely with legal teams to pursue legal action against non-paying customers where necessary.
- Managing engineers' parking (Ringo & Pay By Phone) / congestion / ULEZ / Dartford Crossing

- Likes working with spreadsheets
- Ability to work to weekly deadlines and prioritise work
- Wants to start a career in finance with a small, friendly, company where you'll get exposure to a wide range of financial tasks

**Training and support**:
Whilst working in this job you'll also be working towards a Level 2 Finance Assistant or Level 3 Assistant Accountant apprenticeship. Your apprenticeship is expected to last 12-18 months, where there is opportunity to progress in the business after that point.

You'll also be supported day-to-day by the back office team, learning loads from the finance manager to support you at work and in your longer-term career.
