An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading Manufactuirng company. The business is looking to bring an experienced SHE Manager to play a key role across their upper tier CoMAH site. You will be experienced in working across all aspects of SHE activitiessuch as strategy, policy, planning and governance, culture change, operations management & occupational health. This is an excellent opportunity with long term stability & technical challenge.
**Role Description**
- Leading on all SHE matters and providing relevant, timely and competent SHE advice
- Implementation of SHE Policy and supporting SHE Management System together with the deployment of SHE objectives and targets
- Liaison and influencing key stakeholders to ensure that the strategic SHE objectives are being delivered
- Influencing and consultation with senior SHE management team in developing and implementing strategic goals
- Ensure the site meets all legal and SHE requirements; including all the requirements of the COMAH Regulations, such as the submission of the Safety Report, establishment of the Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) and meeting any additional requirementsof the Competent Authority
- Providing assurance that the site is compliant with the Operational Framework and the OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001 (safety), ISO 14001 (environment), ISO 50001 (energy) certifications
- Investigation and reporting of incidents in accordance with regulatory and customer requirements - this may include being the assigned lead investigator for significant incidents at other sites

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree in Safety & Health and/or hold a recognised equivalent Safety and Health Management qualification e.g. NEBOSH diploma
- Experience of managing teams, contracts and budgets
- Hold a recognised environmental qualification, such as the IEMA certificate
- Demonstrate the knowledge (e.g. hold an appropriate teaching qualification) and experience to deliver high quality SHE training
- Experience of working on upper tier COMAH sites
