Quality Technologist

**Salary**:£30,000

Day shift
- 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for daily management of the site taste panel, ensuring panel covers all manufactured product, information is tracked and reported, any out of spec products are investigated and actions closed out.
- Responsible for sorting and filing of retained product samples
- Responsible for management of Customer & Consumer complaints from UK Customers for either UK or Biscuit International sites, ensuring all data is actively tracked, issues are investigated, actions closed out and reported back to relevant parties.
- Responsible for completion of annual shelf-life validation and shelf-life extension, ensuring samples, data and testing is tracked investigated, and reported.
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and filing all production process records including hourly coding samples.
- Responsible for daily, weekly & monthly KPIs and reports completed for all technical data.
- Responsible for tracking, investigating and closing out of all Non-conformances and foreign body finds.
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance for the Foreign body photo database
- Responsible for daily giveaway/weight checks data & communication
- Responsible for document control of site Quality Management System
- Champion Quality Culture & Allergen Management across the factory by completing weekly GMP Audits
- A key member of site HACCP, Allergen, and Internal audit teams.
- Actively support the site with all certification and customer audits.
- Support SQM with Annual Allergen Cleaning Validation
- General administration duties, e.g. filing, organizing and archiving
- Covering for Technical Assistant during absence and holiday

**Skills & experience**
- Computer literacy (Microsoft packages), SharePoint,
- Level 2 Food Safety or above
- Level 2 HACCP or above

**Additional desirable Qualifications and Experience**:

- Internal auditing
- Working knowledge of HACCP; TACCP & VACCP
- Knowledge of internal auditing
- Practitioner of Root Cause and Gap Analysis
- Knowledge of risk assessment as applied to all systems but particularly allergen management
