Post: Sales Advisor FULL TIME and PART TIME temporary.

Location: O2 Banbridge

**Salary**: Pro rata £20,000 per annum (£24,000 - £25,000 OTE based on achievment of quartely sales bonus)

Reports to: Store Manager

Responsible to: General Manager

Purpose of the Post

The post holder will play a pivotal role in the staff team of VMO2 for Lordwardens Consultancy Ltd. As a keen team player they will work to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service and gain consistently high customer satisfaction scores. As a result, they will avail of an exceptional bonus scheme which will reward them individually and as a team. On target earnings should be at least 30% on top of the basic salary. It is envisaged that each sales advisor will contribute to a fun but professional working environment which will make the store an outstanding success.

The Main Duties of the post include:
Sales
- To sell O2 and Virgin media products and services to the public
- To provide information and advice to the public
- To help meet store sales targets

Customer Care
- To meet and surpass the expectations of both VMO2 and the customer
- To maintain text back and mystery shop score above pass levels
- To provide customer care regardless of sales opportunity at the point of contact
- To show equality of treatment to all customers

Store image
- Management of the stores image and ambience
- Managing store displays, demo phones and sims

Financial
- Managing daily till floats and petty cash
- Managing tills and taking customer payments

Stock control
- Assisting with the stores stock control
- Managing stores computerised stock system
- Completing back office computer/paperwork and returns
- Carrying out audits

Marketing and PR
- Reviewing VMO2 updates
- Providing ideas for marketing and PR
- Doing leaflet drops and local marketing initiatives

Health and safety
- Have a responsibility for the health and safety of staff and customers.

General duties

The sales advisor may from time to time be called on to undertake duties within reason outside those listed in this job description. This will generally be on a one off basis.

Personal Specification

Essential criteria
- Can demonstrate experience working in a busy retail environment.
- Can demonstrate high levels of customer care
- Can demonstrate an ability to sell and meet targets
- Can demonstrate IT skills including experience of Microsoft packages: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Can demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and to use own initiative when necessary
- Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively with people at all levels

Hours

The post holder will be employed based on the offer of employment. Currently Part Timers average 16 hours or more a week, with additional seasonal hours and Full time staff work a 40-hour week. Weekly rotas will be agreed in advance with the Store Manger. The post holder may be required to occasionally work outside of normal working hours this will be managed by way of a shift system over a seven-day week and may include some evenings and bank holidays. A TIOL (Time owed in Lieu) system will work during busy periods. In addition, staff may be offered additional hours at other locations.
