We are currently recruiting caring, passionate, and dedicated individuals to join our fantastic team for Waking Night home visits in the Preston and South Ribble area. You will need to be available to work from 9pm to 8am on a rota basis including weekends and specifically be available to work on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday Night as a minimum (additional nights are available).

Our clients depend on our team of Care Assistants to help and support them with the living in their homes including personal care. You probably already have the skills you need to make a great Care Assistant, but we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

**Duties will include**:

- Ensure the highest possible levels of care provision are maintained at all times.
- To undertake all duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of Right at Home at all times.
- Duties will include aspects of personal care to allow Clients to maintain their personal hygiene, appearance and physical comfort.
- Assisting in the preparation and making of meals, drinks and snacks. Ensuring clients get the fluids and nutrition they require
- To assist Clients to take medication as identified in their care plan.
- To provide social support, talking and listening to the Client, helping them to maintain contact with friends and family and other contacts in potentially isolating situations.
- To contribute to the safe moving and handling of Clients to maximise their physical abilities and mobility.
- Act on own initiative and exercise good decision-making skills.

**Requirements of a Care Assistant**:

- Be a Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Have a Genuine Passion to want to help others.
- Be Caring, Compassionate, Considerate and have Excellent Communication skills.
- Be available to work from 21.00pm to 8am weekdays and weekends. You will need to be available to work on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday night as a minimum

Right at Home Preston covers clients in the following areas**:Penwortham, Longton, Walmer Bridge, Much Hoole, Tarleton, Croston, Leyland, Bamber Bridge, Fullwood, Barton, Broughton, Ingol and surrounding areas.**
