An exiting opportunity has opened for a Test Analyst with System Integration experience
Test Analyst vacancy in large public sector organisation in Birmingham
Up to £50,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave, flexible hybrid working policy and other generous benefits
Hays Technology are working in partnership with a large public sector organisation based in Birmingham to recruit a Test Analyst with System Integration experience on a permanent basis.
Job Purpose:
Key responsibilities:

- Define and document test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Carry out testing throughout the development and implementation lifecycle, both exploratory and scripted, using a variety of tools and techniques, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Provides expert guidance on system integration, defining running and reporting on stress, regression, integration and performance tests appropriate to each change.
- Work collaboratively to define and document test scenarios, test cases and acceptance criteria.
- Plan, schedule and manage testing in accordance with timescales agreed with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Develop test automation; create and maintain automated regression test suites
- Guide, support and manage business users through UAT to ensure they carry out tests effectively.
- Previous experience as a Test Analyst.
- ISTQB or ISEB Certified Tester at Intermediate certificate Level, an equivalent qualification, or comparable experience.
- Experience in planning, scheduling and managing testing activities across both system change and software development.
- Knowledge of the test life cycle and test activities.
- Knowledge of analysis techniques including requirement analysis, data modelling and process mapping.
- Experience of enterprise level business systems, ideally Housing Management systems, Asset Management and Repairs/Scheduling systems, Finance and HR systems.
- Knowledge of SOAP/RESTful API integration, Micro Service Architecture and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
- Experience in creating test plans.
- Knowledge and experience in creating test execution reports, defect reports and test closure reports.
- Experience in manual testing and executing test scripts.
- Experience in system testing, integration testing, UAT testing, end to end testing, performance testing, functional testing and non-functional testing.
- Experience of testing desktop, web based and data integration solutions.
