Drivers Mate

Our client UK wide waste and recycling concern requires a Drivers Mate to work in their Lurgan site.

**MUST HAVE OWN CAR DUE TO LOCATION & WORKING HOURS NO PUBLIC VIABLE FOR START TIMES**

**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY IF SUCCESSFUL**

**Job Title: Waste Drivers’ Helper**

**Job Details**
- Monday to Friday = 45 hour working week
- Evening Shift: 5.30am start to finish (this depends on runs and Traffic)
- Hourly Rate = £10.84 per hour
- Holiday pay = £1.30

**Job Duties**
- Assisting driver with deliveries province wide
- manual handling required within this role
- heavy lifting required
- Contacting customers ahead of delivery expectations
- Guiding driver into built up areas
- Directing driver via GPS or reading MAPS
- Load trucks at each stop
- Dealing with documentation
- Must have good knowledge of paperwork and SATNAV
- You will also be responsible for updating the system when the delivery has taken place confirming with the transport department that it has been executed accordingly
- Help of cleaning of lorry
- Helping of loading and offloading lorry
