Who are we looking for?
We are now recruiting for a talented, Herefordshire based eCommerce specialist to join our energetic team in our rapidly growing outdoor retail business.

We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for the outdoors and eCommerce experience. They must have a way with words and the ambition to produce the best content available in the marketplace.
You will need to be a strong storyteller, adept with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and have an eye for detail and design that sets you apart from your competition.
You’ll be working together with the Marketing department, as well as liaising with the senior management of the business to create effective visual and written communications across all of our customer-facing channels, displaying a consistent message following our brand guidelines.
You will be required to take direction and initiative and be comfortable working under pressure, designing for both online and offline briefs to sometimes tight deadlines. You need to fit in, work well and pull your weight as part of a successful team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for delivering accurate and purposeful copy across several mediums, enthusing our customers and aiding them in their purchasing decisions with us.
You will liaise with several teams and stakeholders to plan and create strategies to ensure we offer the highest quality eCommerce environment available in our marketplace.
Managing tasks and your workload using our online project management tools provided by the Microsoft Office 365 suite is fundamental, as is the ability to manage multiple projects at once, take ownership of your work and deliver results that surpass the initial brief.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

In more detail you will focus on the following:

- Produce unique copy for our website and other customer-facing channels on time and to a high standard.
- Use our Content Management Software to ensure all products are online and available to purchase with unique product descriptions, technical data and appropriate visual assets.
- Work collectively with the Marketing department
- to maintain our blog by writing unique copy and curate/create supporting assets
- to plan and help execute campaigns to a high standard
- to assist with visual planning and styling of merchandise for use on Trekitt platforms and with customer-facing outfit guide
- Assist in the creation and ideation of Trekitt’s content campaigns.
- Provide quality control over all Trekitt visual communication.
- Work collaboratively with the team to assist building guidelines for marketing imagery and upcoming photoshoots. Occasionally accompany the team on outdoor photoshoots and assist in photoshoot merchandising.
- Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel.
- Research and understand new products and technologies.
- Understand our target audience and identify key messages, using analytics softwares available.
- Drive our D2C strategy online in a fast-changing environment

**WHO YOU ARE**

We think you could be a great match for the position if you possess the following traits and capabilities:

- Experienced - Provide sufficient evidence of their experience in their portfolio.
- Qualifications - A degree in English or studied at higher education if preferred, but
not essential depending on experience.
- Live the Outdoors - A passion for the outdoors and a fundamental understanding of the brands and the needs of outdoor users (including climbers, mountaineers,
backpackers, trekkers, skiers and adventure travellers).
- Understands Digital Marketing - Understands digital marketing and search engine
optimisation (SEO).
- Self-Motivated - The ability to work independently and prioritise work effectively.
