Are you an experienced Support Worker looking for an exciting opportunity to redefine person-centered support?

Our client, a leading organisation in the health and social care sector, is looking for passionate and skilled individual like you to join their innovative 11-bed residential service in Luppitt.

As a Team Leader you will support the Service Manager by leading, developing and mentoring a team of staff through person centred approaches.

**Duties**:

- Provide support, leadership and guidance to team through mentoring, positive examples and the promotion of person centred approaches.
- Regular supervision meetings with staff identifying developmental opportunities where required
- Ensure staff are effectively inducted through induction procedures
- Ensure support plans are current and staff are aware of the review and implementation of individual support plans
- Ensure staff are given the appropriate mandatory and non-mandatory training to perform in their jobs
- Manage and support staff at return to work meetings following sickness absences
- Manage the staffing resources of the service including rota management and staff budgets
- Demonstrate a commitment to the Safeguarding of Adults and to recognise and report any disclosure
- Ensure all staff have an up to date and live Personal Development Plan (PDP)
- Quality and Health and safety checks as required
- Other reasonable duties as requested.

**Requirements**:

- Experience of supporting people with a learning disability / mental health needs.
- NVQ Level 3 in Social Care Management or equivalent
- Experience of supervising and motivating staff.
- Clear written and verbal communication style.
- IT literate
- Willing to undertake required training
- Available for flexible working patterns including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins and nights as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,620.00 per year
