Care Assistant Regional Response

**Full-time. Full driving licence and own transport needed.**

**Location**:Crawley, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, East Grinstead and the surrounding areas.

**Pay: £11.55 **MonSun. Mileage = 4**0p per mile.**

**Shifts**:7-3 pm and 3-10 pm shifts and every other weekend.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a Regional Care Assistant with All Care West Sussex, you'll deliver warm, empathetic and respectful care and support across all areas to help our clients get the most out of life. It's a very varied role that will see you provide cover as and when we need it. On a practical level, you can expect to monitor the delivery of care when on duty, contribute to the person-centred care planning process for each client and record observations on things like temperature and blood pressure - among a range of other important tasks. The role of a Regional Care Assistant also involves providing support and companionship - it's vital for us that every client enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with our carers, every single shift.

**ABOUT YOU**

A background in care is important for the role of a Regional Care Assistant, and you'll need a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care would be useful, as would a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry. Ideally, you'll also have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths. Dedicated and compassionate, your passion for people means you'll go above and beyond to support the well-being of clients. Flexibility is important and, because you'll be travelling across the area, you'll either need your own car or ready access to one. We'll cover your mileage in-between care calls
