Bodiam, United Kingdom The Hub Full time

Want to work in stunning countryside just a stone's throw from Bodiam Castle?
We're The Hub and The Original Hut Company, a café and glampsite based on Quarry Farm, Bodiam.
A beautiful place to visit, stay and work, we are excited to be expanding our great team with more friendly, positive, customer-focussed people.

ABOUT YOU:
Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, you will love working face to face with customers, ensuring they have the best possible experience during their visit or stay.

You'll enjoy getting involved with whatever is required and appreciate the varied tasks and pace involved in a café business. You'll enjoy working within our vibrant team but have the initiative and confidence to work by yourself, noticing what needs doing and seeing it through.

Taking pride in your work and the presentation of yourself and your surroundings, you'll make sure the café as a whole always looks as good as it can: from the fresh flowers and towels in our loos to ensuring any litter inside and out is promptly cleared.

You will be polite and positive and enjoy always going that extra mile for customers and colleagues alike.

ABOUT US:
The Hub café and shop iis a growing business which perfectly complements The Original Hut Company - our self-catering glamping and camping site.

The Hub café is fully licenced and carries a beautiful range of local and ethically-sourced food and drinks. Our food is fresh, rustic and seasonal.
We are ethically-minded and very much focussed on sustainability. We like to support local and are continually looking for ways to improve our footprint, from only serving Vegware cups and paper straws instead of plastic, to reusing and upcycling across the cafe and site (including the staircase in our cafe which is made from old pallets).
If you care about people, the planet and doing a great job, we want to hear from you
