I am recruiting for an experienced Optical Sales Advisor’s to provide outstanding service to a leading Optical and Hearing Care organisation across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-known Optical and Hearing Company, who currently have over 180 stores nationwide and are rapidly growing.

You will need to develop an understanding of NHS regulations and protocols as well as company systems and processes - training will also be provided.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Ensure patient records are updated and confidentially handled
- Maintain company high standards - provide high class service to patients and colleagues
- Have a flexible approach - help colleagues / patients
- Serve customers enthusiastically, booking appointments skilfully demonstrating the highest levels of customer service and care, advising customers on frame and lens choice
- Manage customer queries and complaints, providing prompt, efficient and competent assistance to resolve customer issues
- Ensure the branch always optimises all sales opportunities by assisting and actively promoting new promotions to colleagues and customers, having a good confident product knowledge
- Assist the Branch Manager in the effective and successful running of the branch
- To contribute to the provision and development of an efficient optometry and hearing service, whilst always maintaining the reputation of the Company
- Assist with inductions and training of all new sales advisors to the branch
- Fit, adjust, and repair spectacles when required
- Carry out triage exercises with hearing customers
- Respect confidentiality of information regarding customers and staff in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and be familiar with, and at all times comply with, the Company’s policy relating to Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults
- Be flexible as to locality as necessitated through emergencies, sickness or holidays
- To assist or carry out any additional tasks associated with the main function (above) as required by line manager
- Be commercially aware and make the most of all sales opportunities whilst working towards achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), whilst utilising the time available, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues
- Effectively implement all systems, procedures, policies and regulations

This is not a complete statement of all duties and responsibilities for a Optical Sales Advisor and may be required to carry out other duties as directed by the Branch Manager.

This role will be suitable for someone with at least 1 years’ worth of industry related experience.

**Salary**: Up to £19,000.00 per year
