Noumed Life Sciences is an emerging pharmaceutical company based in Maidenhead, Berkshire focusing on GMP and IP focused pharmaceuticals. The company has been officially trading since April of 2017 and is able to offer all employees an exceptional insight into the development of a new pharmaceutical company, giving them autonomy and broad learning. A once in a career opportunity to be actively involved in the startup of an aspiring global Organisation.

**Responsibilities (Post training)**
- Carry out the manufacturing processes to produce oral solid dosage forms that are within product specifications and meet all quality standards.
- Verify and prepare manufacturing material and equipment for production run.
- Partake confidently in the manufacturing machine set up and changeovers for manufacturing operations. This includes following work instructions for equipment set up/ changeovers and following all work standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Operate manufacturing equipment, including troubleshooting and adjusting in accordance with company SOP, as directed.
- Follow escalation protocols in a timely manner when troubleshooting efforts fail.
- Work alongside maintenance team when escalation is needed for a mechanical issue.
- Be responsible for personal, production room and equipment sanitation
- Develop an understanding of batch record information, using basic mathematical skills, records preparing accurate and complete information.
- Be actively engaged in all technical training, as well as compliance and other training required as a member of the operations team.
- In time, help with the training of new operators alongside the Senior Operators.
- Be an active participant in continuous improvement activities to promote improved efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Post training) Duties will include the following:

- **Dispensing**: Weighing of the materials as per the batch record.
- **Granulation**: Wet and dry granulation process. Cleaning, set up and operation of the RMG, FBD, Mill, paste vessels, IBC & Vibro sifter.
- **Blending**: Mixing of the materials as per the batch record. Testing of the granules for the moisture content.
- **Compression**: Compression of the tablets. Cleaning, set up and operation of the compression machine, metal checker, de-duster, and check weigher. Testing of the compressed tablets for weight variation, Disintegration, thickness, and friability.
- **Encapsulation**: Capsule filling process. Cleaning, set up and operation of the capsule filling machine, metal checker, de-duster, ADU and capsule sorter. Testing of the capsules for weight variation, locking length and disintegration.
- **Coating**: Coating of the tablets. Mixing of raw materials into a solution. Cleaning, set up and operation of the mixing vessels and auto coater. Testing of the coated tablets for weight variation, Disintegration and thickness.
- **General facility cleaning** of the rooms to a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standard.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- Ability to read, write and understand the English language for the purpose of reading documents, product labels and instructions and accurately completing compliance documentation
- Good computer skills
- Must possess basic mathematical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with others and work in a team-based environment.
- Organisational skills; detail oriented.
- Ability to use good judgment in order to carry out detailed instructions.
- Basic problem-solving capabilities for the purpose of troubleshooting issues in the manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work overtime when needed
