**What success looks like in this role**:

- You understand and have documented customers’ pain points, fears, hopes, and aspirations and use these within your copy.
- You have the discipline to track and document results and the courage to test new ideas to see what works.
- You take the lead and push for what you believe in.
- Your whole focus is on activities that create results, and when things are not working, you can speak directly and openly so the whole team can come together to help support you in solving challenges.

**Responsibilities**:

- Writing original, clear, compelling and engaging copy.
- Collaborating with the team to develop original and creative concepts and ideas for campaigns and communications across all media.
- When needed, leading and managing the development of creative concepts and ideas for all copy.
- Researching and developing new content ideas.
- Working with a brand’s unique tone of voice and strategy.
- Writing all the content for our campaigns, both at the campaign planning/development stage & during the in-campaign optimisation stage.
- Create copy for the websites and any additional pages that need to be created.
- Write engaging social media content.
- Write ad copy (Google & social media).
- Write SEO Blogs.
- Have the ability to simplify technical terms.
- Industry and topic based research.
- Create blog plans and social media plans.
- Proofreading.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- Flawless command of the English language, writing and grammar skills.
- Have a good understanding of technical writing.
- At least 3 years’ copywriting experience, demonstrated by a suitable portfolio.
- Experience in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- A writing qualification is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of SEO from a copy point of view.
- Solid understanding of page optimization.
- Solid understanding of Keywords.
- Be using and have interest in AI tools.

Meticulous work is expected, firstly to produce writing that moves and persuades people, and secondly with an excellent and succinct choice of words and use of grammar, making every word count. Thorough proofreading and excellent admin is also expected. It will be of great use to you if your work is saved correctly, as previous templates and examples of work will help you when volumes increase.
