In your new role as Patient Catering Assistant, you will prepare food such as vegetables for the chefs, load meals onto trolleys and ensure that they are delivered to the necessary wards in a timely manner. You will ensure the kitchen is well maintained, i.e. stock rotation, recording fridge temperatures etc, and undertake cleaning duties adhering to COSHH guidelines. Carrying out kitchen duties such and cleaning such as washing cutlery and crockery and chef cooking dishes Also ensure that the general Kitchen cleaning duties are carried out in accordance to the guide lines set out

**What we are looking for**

In order to be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator and have a good standard of numeracy. You will be prepared to work in an environment that can have chilled, hot or noisy conditions. You will also be prepared to undertake manual handling and some heavy lifting with duties of the role. Food safety level 2 preferred and must be available to undertake mandatory training to comply with food safety.
