level= is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for a talented Senior Events Manager.
Our client is a private company owned by 13 Member Clubs and CVC Capital Partners and are principally responsible for managing the Gallagher Premiership Rugby competition. They also manage the Premiership Rugby Cup, Premiership Rugby Shield and Under 18s competition.Their vision is to create "Unmissable World-Class Sporting Entertainment that is Accessible to All" and to be the "Beating Heart of the English Game".

Senior Events Manager Key Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the entire annual event portfolio including the prestigious Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final, one of the highlights of the rugby calendar, to the Premiership awards and other key activations
- To be ultimately accountable for the successful delivery of the events against KPIs
- To be responsible for the annual event budget, including each event P&L
- Negotiating with third-party contractors, from venue agreements to branding agencies to F&B suppliers and general activation agencies, ensuring that best rates negotiations and the flexibility to move suppliers as demand dictates
- To be the point of contact for all events, both internally executing effective project management, and for all external stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to elevate or create new events by being across developments in the events industry, and by using other sources than the marketing budget
- To formally review each event, providing feedback and actions to key stakeholders

Senior Events Manager Key Requirements:

- Experience of successfully constructing and delivering a variety of events
- Experience of working and negotiating with vendors to deliver world-class events
- Project management and ability to deliver events on time and on budget
- Ability to run budgets and P&L
- Excellent organisational skills and have good attention to detail
- An action-oriented, solution-focused approach to work
- Innovative and creative when managing events

The Package:

- 10% performance bonus
- 3 days in the office / 2 days from home
