Yard Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a new member of our yard team at our Pontypool branch.

The role will include:

- Work as part of a team
- Resolve questions and service issues for customers face to face
- Use pick notes and invoices to ensure customers are loaded correctly in the yard
- Keep up to date with product lines
- Encourage sales through up-selling and cross-selling
- Act as a company ambassador at all times
- Use company vehicles in a safe manner
- Ensure stock is merchandised correctly and kept at appropriate levels
- Ensure the yard is kept clean and tidy
- Adhere to all Health & Safety Policies and Safe Working Practices
- Complete all reasonable management requests

Demonstrate an ability to provide outstanding customer service

Ability to work with mínimal supervision.

**Salary**: £10.75 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pontypool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
