Fabric Cutter

**Title: Fabric Cutter / Industrial Sewing Machinist**

The Best Connection are currently looking to recruit a number of experienced Sewing Machinists to work at our client's busy manufacturing site, based in Waterlooville, Hampshire.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

- Operating industrial sewing machines
- Working with different fabrics
- Helping to manufacture smoke and fire curtains
- Reading and working from schematic engineering drawings and diagrams
- Working with a variety of hand tools
- Quality inspection of all finished products to ensure customer satisfaction
- Working to health and safety standards

Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:15, and Friday, 07:30 - 12:15.

Starting pay rate of £11.00 - £11.50 per hour, depending on experience.

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position, with the potential of earning a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period.
