**What you can expect**:
As a qualified Painter here at Novus, your role would typically be working alongside an experienced team of trade colleagues undertaking refurbishment works in customers’ homes, which may include Internal and External painting refurbishment programs,

We have two opportunities available working across our Midlands region, both will offer local pickups in Stoke on Trent and will require travel time to site.

The skills you would learn throughout your apprenticeship would include;.
- **Work Methods** - Understand the purpose of a range of equipment & tools and how to use, store and maintain them safely and the reaction of materials to atmospheric conditions
- **Product & Specifications** - Gain expert knowledge of product types, drying, curing, effects of colour, interpreting specifications and colour choices
- **Health & Safety **- To learn the principles of health, safety and welfare and how these are applied in the workplace including handling hazardous substances
- **Team work** - The role will give the skills and abilities to not only be part of a team but to play an active role within a busy team.
- **Stakeholder Management** - Developing and maintaining relationships with Managers, Colleagues and Customers
