We currently have a position within the Quality team for an Internal Auditor / Trainer to support the continuous improvement of systems & processes across our sites at Washington and Seaton Burn.

**Job Purpose**

The purpose of the role is to support the continuous improvement of systems & processes (across both Washington & Seaton Burn locations) through the following;
- maintaining operator skill level
- compliance with process & procedural requirements

**Main Duties**

1. Develop / coordinate & maintain all training requirements & records.

2. Develop / coordinate & maintain all Audit activities & records, inclusive of

Product Audits

Process Audits

5S & Standard Work Audits

Installation Audits

Supplier Audits

Stock Audits

3. Develop/create quality related metrics & maintain visual display boards.

4. Support process & procedure generation, including standard work.

5. Support RMLs Corrective Action Report system (CAR), to identify issues & eliminate their root cause via structured problem-solving activities.

6. Support the change control system & associated activities.

7. Complete Personal Objectives as aligned with departmental & company strategies.

8. Support other Lean / business improvement activities.

9. Support QMS accreditation activities.

10. Provide cover for other members of the Quality Team.

**Essential**

1. Qualified internal auditor.

2. Level 5 qualification in a quality / manufacturing / engineering discipline.

3. Previous experience of Quality-related roles.

4. Excellent IT skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

5. Knowledge & experience of Lean principles.

6. Procedure writing experience.

7. Effective communication skills (written & oral).

8. Ability to work on own as well as part of a Team

**Desirable**

9. Training qualifications.

10. Experience of ISO 9001.

11. Knowledge of kitchen/furniture industry.
