**Job summary**:
Are you a newly qualified mental health practitioner looking for a career opportunity in a community mental health team or currently working in another area looking to develop further skills as a community mental health practitioner?

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Band 5 development post as a Mental Health Practitioner in Romsey Community Mental Health Team.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and innovative team constantly seeking to improve service delivery with our service users and their carers. We are currently looking to recruit a qualified Mental Health Professional to join our multi-disciplinary team in a full time Band 5 position.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
You will have a named mentor in the team who will identify goals with you in order for you to progress to a band 6 when you and your mentor agree you are competent and confident to do so. You will start with a small caseload which you will manage under supervision from your mentor and guidance from the multi-disciplinary team. You will participate in shared team responsibilities such as attending clinical meetings, shared care and depot/clozapine clinics. You will receive regular supervision and have the opportunity for continuing professional development.

You will require a full driving licence.

Romsey is a semi-rural market town situated in Hampshire, close to the New Forest and the south coast.

Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
