**Boost Project Mentor Lead**
- **Salary**: £25,000 per annum _(rising to £25,500 after sucessfully completing a 6-month probationary period)_
- **Hours**: 35 per week
- **Contract**: Fixed term contract until August 2026

**_Compulsory participation in the 3rd Tier out of hours on-call rota._**

**Purpose of the post**: “The Gwent Helping End Homelessness Project (BOOST Building On Our Strengths Together) is a five year project supported by the National Lottery Community fund”. The Boost project team leader will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project and support of the peer advisors and placements. They will also ensure the project meets its targets and outcomes whilst supporting peers and the partner organisations associated with the project as the first point of contact.

**Specific responsibilities**:

- Be the first point of contact for Peer Advisors and partner/ host agencies.
- Lead on establishing and maintaining good relationships with partner organisations to aid the recruitment of new Peer Advisors and provision of placement opportunities.
- Support with the recruitment of new Peer Advisors and provide guidance and support to them as they are training and throughout their placement, this includes carrying out supervisions and supporting their personal development.
- Create and maintain internal and external voluntary placements setting up with placement hosts and monitoring them in practice.
- Complete monthly monitoring and project reporting.
- Set up systems to obtain and report on feedback from placement hosts on the impact of hosting Peer Advisor placements, for their clients and their organisations.
- Maintain timely and accurate records of all interventions and complete data capture forms as required. Obtain evidence of achieved outcomes according to programme requirements and obtain regular feedback from Peer Advisors.
- Work constructively with partners and other agencies to address any problems and represent the project externally.
- Attend and contribute to multi-agency project meetings when required.
- To represent Cyfannol and the Boost project at external meetings, public events, conferences
- A Peer Advisor is someone who has experienced VAWDASV and being support by Cyfannol and St Giles Trust to train to a City & Guilds accredited Level 3 Advice and Guidance qualification, to gain volunteer and/ or work placement to further their future employment opportunities_

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate and promote the organisation’s ethos, vision and values
- Keep abreast of regulation changes within HR related topics, attend training, develop networks to support development in the role
- Contribute to the protection and enhancement of the organisation’s reputation
- Participate in team meetings, supervision and appropriate training
- Work within the Organisation’s Policies and Procedures
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as required as requested by your line manager

**A current valid driving licence, access to a car and insurance covering business use is essential**
