**Job Description**:
Renishaw is seeking a **Copywriter **to join our Marketing Communications team within the Machine Tool Products Division. Renishaw’s Machine Tool Products lead the market in delivering innovative, high-accuracy measurement solutions to CNC machining processes around the world.

Our patented touch-trigger probe technology was first employed to measure intricate components for Concorde aircraft engines. Today (and many iterations later) our products are the benchmark in high-precision engineering for manufacturing hundreds of everyday items like mobile phones and laptops through to car and aircraft parts. There’s a good chance our probes were involved in the production of the device you are currently using to read this advert.

**Responsibilities**:

- Write and edit copy for a variety of marketing content (including print, web, mobile, video, and social media).
- Work creatively within our corporate guidelines to produce original and engaging materials which are accurate and of high quality.
- Produce promotional and marketing materials for products and services, including brochures, case studies, newsletters, web content, presentations, and trade show marketing.
- Proofread and refine content.
- Ensure technical concepts are suitable for the audience and accessible to the reader.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure a consistent message and tone of voice in local materials.

**Key requirements**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas.
- Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Demonstrable understanding of copywriting best practices.
- Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire to improve.

**Desirable requirements**:

- A degree in English, journalism, copywriting, public relations, literary studies, media studies or the like.
- B2B writing experience.
- Proofreading experience.
- A keen eye for detail.
- A full and valid UK driving licence.
