We are recruiting a **Regeneration Officer** to work alongside the Regeneration Manager to develop our regeneration strategy, joining our team to realise key regeneration schemes for the Borough that will have a significant impact on both place and quality of life.

This is an exciting time to be joining Havant Borough Council following the ending of joint management arrangements with a neighbouring local authority. We are now re-focusing our resources with regeneration and economic development being a major priority. We are now looking for exceptional professionals to be part of this growing team to help drive delivery.

**The focus of this role will be to develop and deliver**:

- A programme for Havant Borough including its phasing, implementation, monitoring and review.
- A marketing and communication plan.
- To integrate the regeneration programme with the evolution of the Havant Borough Local Plan 2036.
- To attract significant public and private sector investment to enable ambitious regeneration projects to be delivered.
- A structure to provide a transparent governance framework.

**What do I need to have?**

You will need to meet our essential criteria including at least 3 years’ experience of Regeneration or related activity.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate knowledge and experience of sources of finance and investment (both public and private) to deliver major capital regeneration projects with the ability to think strategically and translate strategy into tangible delivery.

Significant experience with examples of developing effective relationships is essential.
