Interim Financial Controller Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are seeking an immediately available Interim Financial Controller / Finance Director for our client, a fast paced PE backed business with a turnover of £12m. The position is a 2-3 month assignment with the possibility of extension.

The position has been created to provide the Finance Director with additional support during their busy period and will also provide leadership and guidance to the small finance function. The role will have a dotted line to the Managing Director.

**The Interim Financial Controller will**:

- Have day to day management of the finance function
- Take ownership of the Management Accounting cycle
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process
- Liaising with the external auditors with regard to statutory requirements
- Providing leadership and guidance to the junior members of staff
- Provide financial commentary to the Board, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Support the Finance Director with ad-hoc projects

**To be considered you must be**:

- A qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Experienced at the Financial Controller/Finance Director level within an SME
- A confident leader with the ability to drive team performance
- Be commutable to Central Birmingham
- Able to start immediately
