Quality Assurance

**QUALITY ASSURANCE OPERATIVE REQUIRED WITH IMMEDIATE START.**

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance operative to work in my clients rapidly expanding food production company in Ivybridge.

The main purpose of the job is to ensure that all processes are followed, audits of all areas are completed, with actions completed. All relevant paperwork is filed correctly and support given to staff.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES ABD DUTIES: -**
- To ensure that all raw materials and packaging are assessed on delivery.
- To spot check paperwork and finished products/stock in the area.
- To ensure all manufactured products meet the required quality standards within the warehouse area.
- Keep a daily log of situations which have occurred.
- Ensure all equipment used throughout the warehouse is controlled, monitored and suitable for use, including validation schedules are followed.
- To assist investigations of quality related customer complaints where required and prepare technical reports detailing agreed collective actions.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE: -**
- Methodical, accurate and have an eye for detail with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Innovative and flexible in approach to working.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft IT packages.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the English language.
- Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety issues particularly with regard to the Food Industry.
- Effective and positive communication skills including strong lone working and teamwork skills.
- Maintain high concentration skills.
- Motivated, reliable and enthusiastic to learn.

**DAYS OF WORK: -**
- MONDAY to FRIDAY

**HOURS OF WORK: -**
- 08:00 to 16:00

**RATE OF PAY**
- £12.00ph
