People Partners is an independent, outstanding care provider offering an exciting job opportunity for a Homecare Assistant.

A day in the life of a People Partners Homecare Assistant could start with greeting your first client of the morning and help them to prepare for the day ahead. This could include, assisting with getting a good healthy breakfast and a cup of tea, then you may support them to wash and dress. A good chat at every visit is always welcome. Once morning visits are completed, there will be time to pop home and attend to your pets, family, or schedule in appointments. Then at lunch time our clients may require support cooking a good hearty meal, offering companionship, and completing any household tasks. For our evening home care assistants, the start of your day might be preparing an evening meal and joining in with your client’s favourite tv shows. Coming to the end of your evening visits you will support your clients to ensure they have everything they need for the night, and they are safe and secure.

Experience is not required because as a People Partners Homecare Assistant, you will be given full training before working with our experienced staff and meeting our lovely clients. We offer full support throughout your employment with continuous shadowing and ongoing training. People Partners offer career progression, access to free education including level 2, level 3 and level 5 diplomas. All our Homecare Assistant roles are flexible around your current work, education, and family commitments.

People Partners offer excellent rates of pay, mileage allowance and paid travel time. Paid monthly, we offer 50p per mile, and pay of £11.50 per hour weekdays, £12.50 per hour weekends, rising to a generous £12.25 weekdays and £13.25 at weekends after probationary period (average 2/3 months) with double pay on bank holidays.
