**The Role**
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Operative based in Knottingley, UK. This is a multi-functional role covering several areas of the production and site operations. Reporting to the Production Manager the main purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient operation of the production process, whilst also supporting other site functions such as weighbridge, laboratory and hygiene. The individual must ensure that all health & safety, quality and food safety standards are exceeded at all times, as set by the company. The role is a fixed shift pattern consisting of two day shifts, followed by two night shifts then four days off.

**Your **Responsibilities
- Adhere to company Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain accurate records as detailed in each area for performance and hygiene purposes.
- Undertake any necessary training in order to fulfil job requirements.
- Ensure absolute product safety through careful management of all process lines and product handling.
- Supporting the site’s policies and procedures.
- Ensuring milling downtime is minimised to ensure optimum plant efficiency.
- Carrying out food safety checks.
- Weighbridge Operations.
- Laboratory testing of flour and wheat samples.
- Cleaning and hygiene requirements.
- Work towards completing all 7 NABIM modules - You will undertake a fully paid for, in-depth training programme over a minimum of four years; covering grain and other cereal milling and the completion of NABIM (National Association for British & Irish Millers) flour milling courses. - Food process experience is ideal but not essential and training will be provided.
- Computer literate.
- Current FLT training certificate is ideal but not essential as training will be provided.
- Advance NABIM qualification is an ideal but not essential and full training and development is provided.
