**Job Title**:Climbing Wall Supervisor

**Hours**:Full time 37.5 (including evenings and weekends)

**Salary**:£21,000 - £24,000 (dependent on experience)

**Location**:The Showroom Climbing Centre, Lincoln

**Job Purpose**:To supervise, instruct and train adults, children and organised groups in the use of the climbing centre, ensuring a safe, enjoyable and financially efficient service in the Climbing Centre. Also, to assist the Climbing Wall and Gym Manager in the day-to-day running of the Centre.
**Context**:
The Showroom Climbing Centre is Lincolnshire’s premier climbing facility, with an excess of 500 regular attendees and strong relationships with local schools and businesses. We are looking for a Climbing Wall Supervisor to assist in the meeting of current demand, and expanding our offering to the local community in the future.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- To effectively induct, support and advise brand new climbers, and climbers attending our Climbing Wall service for the first time.
- To lead on day-to-day administrations duties for the Climbing Centre including, but not limited to: assisting with drafting rotas, invoicing and purchasing.
- To operate the membership software system and electronic point of sale equipment, and to sell merchandise and other products in the climbing front of house service.
- To contribute to discussions about service targets and ensure those targets are delivered.
- To proactively engage in community outreach and maintain excellent working relationships with schools, businesses and the public by whom the facilities are used.

**Person Specification**:

- Full understanding of indoor climbing and the associated techniques and practices.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Outlook & Excel.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Energy, drive, enthusiasm, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate a range of people.
