**Job Title**:Maintenance Assistant

**Hours of work**: 37.5 hours per week, which will include match days / events / evenings / weekends and additional hours as necessary. Regular working hours will be between 08:00 and 16:00.

**Salary**: £25,000 - £27,000

**Location**: Heston Training Ground

**Responsible to**: Facilities Manager / Site Manager

This is an exciting time to join QPR as we develop our brand-new state of the art training facility, and look to progress an in-house maintenance team where we can offer continuous professional development and opportunities for training.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Inspect and identify faults, and to carry out any reactive maintenance in a proactive manner
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems
- To carry out daily / weekly / monthly compliance testing and inspections
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are reported on the Club’s maintenance system and that any stakeholders are kept updated as to progress.
- Maintain records of work carried out in accordance with safe working practices each day
- Carry out pre-planned maintenance tasks to ensure site is running effectively
- Suggest any cost saving initiatives in the running of the site
- Associated manual handling tasks and assisting with transporting heavy goods around the site when required

**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous work within a maintenance, building services, or construction environment
- Ability to work alone and proactively manage the requirements of the site
- Proficient n the use of Microsoft Office systems
- Full and clean UK driving licence

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Industry related qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, or similar
- Health and Safety Training
- First Aid training
- Strong communicator and able to build working relationships with staff at all levels
- Flexible and adaptable to working requirements of the site

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
