**Role Title: Physician Associate**

**Location: Exeter**

**A bit about the role**:

- Identify, signpost, or refer patients at risk of developing long-term conditions, preventing adverse effects on the patients health.
- Examine, assess, and diagnose patients and provide clinical care/ management as required.
- Triage patients and provide the necessary treatment during home visits.
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Support patients in the use of their prescribed medicines or over the counter medicines (within own scope of practice)
- Ensure that they always adhere to the relevant patient group directives and local clinical pathways.
- Support and work alongside the duty on the day team triaging patients via the phone and face to face.

**Physician Associate requirements and qualifications**:

- Must have either PG diploma or MSC
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have experience in a Primary care setting
- Has passed UK physician associate national re-certification exam
- Participates in continuing professional development - CPD
- Able to work efficiently, while adapting to different environments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
