We are looking to hire an experienced Workshop Foreman to join our team in Methlick, Aberdeenshire.
- Capable of leading a committed team with a diverse range of backgrounds and experience.
- Forward plan to complete the numerous maintenance tasks and repairs on a regular basis, as well as provide an efficient, proactive, and dedicated service.
- Always calm under pressure.
- Self-motivated, delivering results with energy, complemented by a sense of humour.
- Driving performance and assisting with the management of the workshops.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of employees and others.
- Ensuring that all company and client Health &Safety and Environmental initiatives are effectively implemented.
- The reporting of any unsafe practices.
- The promotion of a continuous improvement culture and the use of best practice.
- Manage a variety of fabrication jobs from start to finish, working to a high standard both individually and as the leader of a team.
- Ability to plan and priorities work to ensure jobs are delivered on time and kept within budget.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, plans and instructions
- Ability to work accurately under pressure (to meet deadlines etc.), demonstrating a logical and methodical approach to workloads.
- Strong leader who can communicates professionally with other team members, customers, suppliers, contractors, etc.
- Take responsibility for the inspection and maintenance of specific equipment.
- Promote HSE procedures and ensure they are always adhered to.

**Experience;**
- Minimum 10 years experience working within the Fabrication / welding, machining and manufacturing sector.

**Qualifications;**
- Welding qualifications essential
- Skilled in Welding Fabrication
- Knowledge on CNC & manual machining
- Knowledge on DNV
- Technical / Mechanical qualification (preferred)
- FLT License (preferred)
- Knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatics (preferred)

**Salary**: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
