**Care Support Worker - Mental Health**

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and learning disability care across hospital and community sites, with services including autism, substance misuse, liaison psychiatry, children’s mental health and specialist mental health. With good rail services, you can easily explore Norfolk and Suffolk, from beautiful stretches of coastline to city streets, and the waterways of the famous Norfolk Broads, both counties have something for everyone.

**Band 2**

Day Rate - £11.85 per hour

Night/Sat Rate -£16.00 per hour

Sun/Bank Holiday Rate -£20.03 per hour

**What you’ll be responsible for**
- 1 Recognising the individuality of the patient and help to meet his or her social, emotional, and intellectual needs
- 2 Will be involved in the delivery and coordination of ward activities
- 3 Ensuring that basic physical needs are met, such as adequate diet, hygiene, warmth, comfort, and safety
- 4 Assisting in planned treatments in accordance with multi-disciplinary team approach

**You’ll have the following qualification/experience**:

- An NVQ Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care Qualification or Care Certificate Qualification that has been obtained within the NHS
- A minimum of 6 months experience if one of the above qualifications is obtain, if not a minimum of 12 months is required. Experience must be within an NHS or private setting such as Hospice. Care home experience no accepted for this trust.
- Undertake regular mandatory training
- Some roles will need a valid PMVA/MAPA training
