**Full job description**

If you have a passion for fitness and working within a team to deliver excellent customer service to our guests and members.

In this job you will need to be very aware of health and safety issues, and you will also deliver excellent customer service at all times.

**DUTIES INCLUDE**
- Greeting members enthusiastically and handling any queries in a helpful and professional way
- Keeping membership information, class bookings, scheduled classes and activities well organized
- Completing the new member journey of a membership sign up, completing a short tour of the health club and explaining all necessary information.
- Ensuring the high standard of cleanliness of the Health Club is maintained at all times as per audit
- Liase with all other departments to ensure a seamless service
- Covering Health Club Reception Desk
- Support the whole team in all areas of the operation
- Up selling Memberships and leisure retail
- Once trained you will also help the lifeguards ensuring all Pool sample water testing is carried out throughout the day and maintaining standards
- Take gym inductions and fitness classes, ensuring guests are safe in their exercise.

- Be responsible, honest and reliable

- Have good verbal communication skills
- Understand safe working practices and health and safety legislation (training will be given)
- Be happy to work alone or part of a group
- To have a smart and professional appearance and demeanor

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Level 2 gym instructor qualification

Diserable Qualifications:

- Pool Plant Room qualification
- Level 3 personal trainer
- Class qualifications such as yoga, spinning, Pilates or other
