Carter Brown is seeking an experienced Quality Controller/ Proof Reader/ Business Administrator to join their Quality Assurance team.

This is a hybrid role offering fantastic flexibility of split working, Monday to Friday 9-5 from the Mansfield Head office and your place of home + brilliant package and perks

Established in 2001, Carter Brown is the market leader in providing expert witness reports (Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, and Paediatricians) in Family Law, Criminal Law, and Local Authorities.

**What it takes to be a Proof Reader**:
As a Proof Reader in our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for proofreading our experts’ reports.

These will consist of psychological, psychiatric, paediatric, and social work reports for use within family and criminal law proceedings; our experts also complete assessments for local authorities, organisations, and individuals.

If you have a good eye for detail and enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team, this could be the role for you.

You'll enjoy reading and supporting our experts to deliver the best-written reports possible through constructive feedback.

Full training and ongoing support is provided.

You will be responsible for reviewing the reports and ensuring that experts file their reports to the Quality Assurance team within agreed timescales and in the correct Carter Brown format.

You will be expected to provide feedback both in writing and over the telephone regarding the content of the report, the style of writing and the accuracy of the information.

Carter Brown's Quality Assurance team is very proud of its approach to administration, therefore, is looking for like-minded individuals who have the experience required to understand that the administration needs to be completed promptly and to the required level of excellence.

The Quality Assurance team have regular use of the full Microsoft suite and will require a basic - advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Training can be provided where necessary.

Due to the nature of the role Carter Brown is seeking an individual who will work towards GDPR guidelines at all times and keep confidentiality in mind when working on any of the allocated reports.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
