Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a Handywoman/Handyman to work as part of a small maintenance team handling routine maintenance activities throughout the hotels and leisure buildings.

Please note that this is a multisite role so requires a full driving license.

You will be working at Longstock House, Leckford Lodges and Leckford Abbas, in Hampshire.
- **Salary range** - The pay range for the roles is £20,389 - £23,000 per annum based on working 37.5 hours per week. This is equivalent to £10.50- £11.75 per hour.
- **Contract type** - This is a permanent role

You’ll work as part of a small maintenance team assisting the Maintenance Technicians in handling routine maintenance activities throughout the hotel and estate, acting as a brand ambassador by being a warm and friendly Partner who provides a consistently outstanding customer experience that is unrivalled in the marketplace.

**Typical tasks include**:

- Performing routine maintenance tasks within own capability or leasing with contractors or wider maintenance team to ensure tasks are completed.
- Completing preventative maintenance programs such as fire alarm and smoke detector checks.
- General gardening and grounds maintenance.
- Completing daily checks of swimming pool to include cleaning and water quality testing taking remedial action as required.
- Ensuring the safety of driveways by coordinating salt sprinkling activities during snowy weather.
- Ensuring the hotel looks clean and maintained at all times.
- Ensuring that any potential hazards are taken care of.
- Providing out-of-hours maintenance support.
