**In the role of Purchasing Co-Ordinator your duties will include**:

- Reviewing BOMs
- Generating Purchase Orders
- Ensuring correct components are purchased against current BOMs/drawings
- Corresponding with suppliers
- Maintaining stock accuracy
- Ensure all Health and Safety instructions are followed as required
- Completing all necessary paperwork as per defined procedures
- Completing all relevant documentation
- Tracking Purchase Order status

**To be successful in the role of Purchasing Co-Ordinator you will need**:

- Accuracy with an eye for detail
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written
- Confident when dealing with suppliers
- Systematic - able to follow procedures & processes
- Experience in using Microsoft Office
- Quality system awareness would be advantageous
- Experience in handling components and sub-assemblies would be advantageous

This is a full time role with a fixed term of 12 months to cover maternity, working Monday-Thursday 08:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 08:30am - 1:30pm. On an hourly rate of £11.44 plus holiday pay
