Optical Assistant

We're loved by our customers because we engage with them, not only in helping them find their perfect glasses or sunglasses and prescription lenses, but we help them after their purchase with any fitting or repairs they require.

**Duties**
- Welcome our customers into store, provide refreshments and make them feel welcome
- Consult with our customers on their lifestyle and style choices
- Record customer information into our CRM system and update information held to ensure accuracy
- Take accurate measurements from our customers and input these along with their prescription on our computerised ordering system
- Maintain our stores so they look great - details matter so we like to make sure we're presenting ourselves well at all times
- Maintain inventory of our stock with regular stock control tasks
- Complete minor laboratory jobs, for example fitting lenses to frames or replacing screws and other minor repairs.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in an optical setting preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to forge meaningful relationships
- Proficiency in using computer systems, everything we do is digital

**Salary**: From £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
