**Boarcross Ltd Farrowing House Role**

Boarcross Ltd is a reputable family-owned pig breeding and rearing business based near Driffield, East Yorkshire. Our professional and progressive post weaning team are expanding, and we are looking for an ambitious and farrowing house person to join the team.

**Key responsibilities**

As a farrowing house manager you will be responsible for:

- Producing top quality 28 day old piglets
- Optimising sow condition
- Ensuring feed stocks are maintained on a number of silos.
- Duties will include weaning and vaccinating of weaners, sows and gilts.
- Assist with training new members of staff and directing others that come to work in your farrowing house.
- Maintaining the accommodation to a good standard and organising any other contractors to come if there is greater repairs.
- Ensuring all paperwork is complete for all compliance.
