**STRUCTURAL STEEL CAD DETAILER**
**Full time, office based**
**08:30 to 16:30 Mon to Fri with ½ Lunch**

Interaction Recruitment are working with a successful manufacture and installation client who are looking for a permanent **Steelwork Cad Detailer** in Watton, to start as soon as possible.
This is a new role and will be working with our Drawing Office Manager.
Role function is to generate from structural designs steelwork GA drawings and all fabrication detail drawings for component manufacture required for each contract including cold rolled rails together with production of all necessary support schedules includingsteel material and fixing lists.
**Duties will include, but will not be limited to**:

- Generate all necessary CAD drawings including all individual part drawings for the hot and cold rolled steel component manufacture of each contract.
- Generate all supporting material schedules.
- Manage all drawing information and revisions within each individual contract record folder.
- Cooperate with steelwork fabricators to support fabrication manufacture queries from detail drawings during the manufacturing process.
- Work with site foreman, steel erectors on any site changes, errors and initiate drawing corrective actions.
- Other contract support duties to help in the managing of each contract.
**Skills required**:

- Experience of detailing structural steelwork using Tekla software package.
- Good communication skills.
- Provide proactive support to suppliers and the team.
- Disciplined and detail focused approach.
