The Opportunity

We are looking for a Buyer within our colour cosmetics Beauty team. it's diverse role and when we say that no two days are ever the same we are not kidding

There's a lot to get excited about as you will work with some great brands such as Bobbie Brown, Tarte, Laura Geller and many more, whilst helping us to constantly improve on our ranges.

Reporting to the Buying Manager, you will build ranges to meet sales, margin and stock targets within the colour cosmetics category of Beauty.

Your Impact
- You will source, select and secure a positioned and differentiated product portfolio for QVC's Colour Cosmetic's range to fit the long-term brand strategy, target market and meet sales targets.
- you will negotiate the best possible cost prices and conditions of trade to work with the Planning, Category Merchandising, Digital and alternative channel teams to review product performance, plan and grow the product range
- You will evaluate the vendor portfolio based on knowledge of market conditions and competitive environment. Regular visits to trade fairs and vendors.
- You will develop short
- and long-term product/Brand strategies
- Keep abreast of wider business strategies.
- You will execute Pricing Strategy for your category - Set initial price and margin following market and category insights
- you will work with the team planning on inventory management following the OTB process.
- Manage brand portfolio through lifecycle
- Team Support
- under the leadership of the Manager Buyer support the recruitment and development of the team. Set and monitor short
- and long-term objectives following the business objectives.
- you will work with the Manager Buyer to develop supplier relationships, keeping abreast of new trends and competitor activity, and taking advantage of new ideas/concepts and products

What You Bring

You will be team oriented, someone who inspires others and leads from the front.

You will be analytical and have knowledge of the trends and brands within the colour cosmetics category.

You will have experience making impactful decisions within a retail and omni-channel environment.

Experience in the beauty industry is preferable.
