Due to an upcoming business divestment project we are currently looking for an** P2P Project Lead** to join our friendly team based in our Tarmac Solihull office. This role is easily accessible from Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Tamworth and across the West Midlands and East Midlands. This is a temporary role working on a fixed term contract for up to 12 months.

**Role Responsibility**:
The Accounts Payable lead is reporting directly to the Senior Manager P2P and will lead a team of 1 to manage the end-to-end P2P processes for a specific division. Key responsibility of the role is to ensure that all purchase requisitions are accurately converted into purchase orders, suppliers are paid to terms and all invoices processed accordingly, enabling mínimal levels of aged transactions and payment runs are raised accurately and in a timely manner. The AP lead is also responsible for managing the financial requirements of AP including statement reconciliations, aged creditors, ensuring that the right processes and controls are in place in these areas. This is a hands-on transactional role adhering to strict SLA’s with team leader responsibilities.
- Maintain Accounts Payable mailbox, resolving queries and responding within agreed SLA’s
- Monitor non matched invoices - reconcile and match to the correct PO/GRN as required and web cycle invoices which can’t be matched to the purchase requisitioner.
- Review and convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders and distribute to vendors and requisitioners.
- Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner in line with individual supplier terms.
- Ensure all non-compliant invoices are returned to supplier - requesting PO numbers where required.
- Supporting internal stakeholders (operations, finance etc) with invoice queries and support proactive resolution to webcyles (supplier queries).
- Responsible for maintaining high levels of data accuracy within the invoice processing.
- Maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the correct and appropriate policies and procedures are complied with and communicated to customers and stakeholders.
- Completing supplier statement reconciliations within agreed SLA’s.

**You will have previous experience of Invoice processing & Supplier statement reconciliations within a large business.**
- Experience of working with **SAP **in a procure to pay role.
- Have worked in a Shared Service Centre / Department before.
- Proven track record of working to SLA’s, critical deliverables and delivering high accuracy outputs.
- Experience of managing a small team covering end to end P2P tasks.
- Fast and Flexible - able to adapt quickly to a changing environment.
- Able to prioritise one’s own work.
- Team player.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Solution orientated thinking.
