**We currently have the following vacancy at Longspee Satellite, (part of Longspee Primary Academy), Ibbett Road, Bournemouth BH10 5HP**

**Context**:
In partnership with Longspee Primary Academy, an Outstanding Specialist Provision, Longspee Satellite opened in September 2020 to increase the capacity of high-quality, local provision.

The post is based at Longspee Satellite working with children from KS1 through to KS2 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and/or Autism. It is a 2 class, 14 place provision. All pupils have EHCPs.

As part of the Longspee team, the role is Satellite Lead, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead with _some_ teaching responsibility. You would line manage a team of Classteacher, HLTA, Behaviour Lead and two Teaching Assistants.

The Satellite Lead will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the Satellite provision, working in partnership with the Longspee Primary Academy Leadership Team, to ensure that all matters are robust and high quality, including planning, assessing, attendance, Safeguarding, pastoral and safety.

You will receive a TLR payment for the additional Leadership responsibility.

As part of the team, you will need to continue to embed our vision and core values and share our inspirational mantra “Happy, Safe, Progress”.

It is the intention of Ambitions Academies Trust to use its resources flexibly to meet the needs of pupils. All staff are therefore allocated to a place of work, however, Ambitions Academies Trust reserves the right to require staff to support the needs of our pupils throughout the Academy as appropriate. This may involve re-location. This is not anticipated to be frequent or indeed regular but you should be aware of this requirement.
