Senior Lecturer in Applied Sport

**Description**:
The Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences (SES) is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences to commence as soon as reasonably possible in 2023.

This post offers you the opportunity to contribute to lecturing, supervision, applied sports science placements, module/programme development, and research in a well-established and popular aspect of the Department’s under
- and post-graduate work.

You will possess a good first degree and/or master’s degree and have completed or be nearing completion of a doctoral qualification. You should also possess experience in the applied sport and exercise sciences field. Applications are particularly welcome from those with expertise in physiology. Experience/expertise across other relevant disciplines would also be beneficial.

In addition to the academic contribution, the role would involve the management and development of applied sports science placements at under
- and post-graduate levels. The position is ideal for someone with aspirations to ally a teaching and research interest in the applied sport and exercise sciences with practical experience.
