**Are you currently seeking a long term SEN teaching post? We are seeking a long term Teacher for our Primary SEN provision for children with ASD and MLD.** To be part of this fantastic new school, you will be required to work with pupils aged 5-10 with a range of complex needs including autism, social communication difficulties and other learning difficulties.

**SEN Teacher - Responsibilities consist of**:

- A good understanding of the requirements for teaching students with SEN
- Being able to consistently have a resilient attitude to supporting the students in their care
- Recognising children's strengths and weaknesses to support their development
- In compliance with the school's Curriculum Policy, ensuring that all students are offered a comprehensive, balanced, and suitable curriculum.
- Produce reports for the Annual Review, termly summaries, and assessment, as well as maintaining an individual student file in their classroom.
- Awareness of SEN Code of Practice and current SEN initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in teaching SEN children required
- DfE recognised teaching qualification
