**Job description**
- 1A new opportunity has arisen at Cheshire Constabulary within the Crime Recording Unit (CRU) for a number of full time Crime Recorders.

If successful in the role, you will receive training to support you fulfil the demands as a Crime Recorder.

As a Crime Recorder, you will be responsible for recording crimes onto Cheshire's Niche system, ensuring the crimes are recorded within agreed timelines.

You will get the opportunity to review crime reports ensuring this is in line with Victims Code of Practice.

You will be responsible for advising Police Officers and Staff on crime recording.

You will make critical decisions using the National Decision Making model to ensure all victims receive the appropriate support.
