**Ness Walk Hotel, Inverness - Torrish Restaurant**

Situated within the 5 Star Hotel Ness Walk, Torrish is an aspirational, relaxed, fine dining restaurant with ambitions of becoming nationally recognised as one of the best restaurants in the country. Recent additions to the kitchen team of a talented new Head Chef have further cemented the desire to chase awards and recognition as a leading national fine dining restaurant.

We are looking for a Sommelier to drive wine sales and to evolve the wine lists to new heights, bringing balance to the list with a strong leaning to France and in particular Burgundy. It is imperative that your personality can be felt within the wine list.

The Sommelier would preferably be working towards or hold WSET qualifications or equivalent, but we will support your personal development via WSET and will provide constant on the job support and training. We would also expect you to drive wine culture within the team, especially to younger members of the team providing training to the team as much as possible.

We are looking for a Sommelier that is interested in social media and not only building the visibility of the wine list at Torrish on social media, but also building their own profile as a Sommelier.

Salary is based on experience and highly competitive. There is also a share of house gratuities in addition to the salary.

Temporary accommodation can be offered until accommodation can be secured in the City.
